Golf of Cariaco & Araya & National Park Mochima - 3 Days

 The first night you spend in a Posada in Carupano. It is located right on the beach and has beautifully designed double and triple rooms, equipped with shower / WC, A / C or fan and TV. Some rooms have a beautiful sea view. The boss of the house provided you with good food and a cool beer in the evening you can end your day in the company.

At the morning of the transfer start to the Gulf of Cariaco. Where our boat is at anchor.

We move close to the coast, admire the folds of mountains, which separate the Gulf from the Caribbean Sea to the "Punta Cangrejo, a beautiful sheltered bay with a deserted Posada. Here we make a snorkel stop, will see coral, oysters and lots of fish. Then on to Laguna Grande, an indented bay with many sheltered bays. Here you will find a desert-like landscape with a slightly curved, scantily clad mountains, which shine in all shades of red. We pass los Laguna Chica, Punta Arena and the impressive ruins of the Castillo de Santiago de Leon de Caballeros. This huge fortress for the defense of the salt pans. Following are the Salzverladehafen and finally the salt flats. On the way back, a swim stop at Punta Arena is planned.
